If you have taken Exploring Mixed Media & Abstract Art, I introduced you to colour theory and mixing. This workshop is much more in-depth and builds on what you learned in that workshop. You do not have to take that workshop to take this one.

Colour Confidence:

We will gather for 2 hours, during which you will experience learning about value, colour theory, harmony and how to create a unique palette for you each time you make a painting.
You will learn how to create depth using warm and cool colours, value and saturated versus unsaturated colours.
I will teach you how to select a limited palette that will result in a beautiful palette every time.
You will discover the endless possibilities with colour mixing and, most importantly, the endless fun that it is!
ALL SUPPLIES ARE PROVIDED.
You will leave with the knowledge required to create harmonious and stunning palettes forever, along with numerous palettes you created during the workshop.

Absolutely no art-making experience is necessary! Chances are, you have made art at one point in your life and perhaps don’t realize it.
I know for sure that creativity is innate. How we express it may vary from person to person.
My retreats and workshops are designed to awaken this aspect of yourself. At the same time, you will be learning professional art skills.
I will be your guide along the way, whether you have painting experience or not.

Yes! In each workshop and course, I teach professional artist techniques that will allow you to continue to make art on your own at home, where you can also build on these skills.

Not at this time. I’m intentionally holding my workshops and retreats in person. I do believe in online learning and gathering; however, at this time, I feel that as a collective, we need to be gathering in person more often. There is an epidemic of loneliness in the Western world, and I hope that, in my small way, I can help overcome that.
However, I am open to offering an online, prerecorded class one day. If this interests you and you want to stay updated on new offerings, sign up for my emails here.

Absolutely! I ask that we schedule a brief call to discuss your event. I will then provide you with a quote for the event via email. If you’d like to proceed with booking, an agreement will be forwarded along with a payment request. All art-making supplies will be provided. Access to water and tables to work from is the host’s responsibility.
